In World War II, the brave men of the 10th Mountain Division faced some of the harshest elements against impossible odds. They made unlikely friends that would carry the load of weaponry and critical supplies up treacherous terrain. ​

The American mule was not only bigger than mule is Europe, it was stronger. Able to bring in artillery such as the howitzer cannon that gave the allies the firepower needed to punch through enemy lines on to victory.
